LEA at Kuntamarkkinat
The LEA project attended Kuntamarkkinat (12-13 September 2018), a two day fair in Finland for decision makers in municipalities. A large variety of local and central government as well as businesses and associations were present to share their activities and to present their products and services for municipalities. The event annually attracts more than 7000 visitors and 200 companies.
LEA offers a great opportunity to procurers and suppliers to upgrade their knowledge to a new era of learning technologies. In LEA, municipalities and schools can get free online training on innovative procurement and they receive assistance when applying for EU-funding. LEA prepares two new project proposals on innovation procurement (PPI and PCP), which allow technologies to be developed in a co-designed process. LEA’s goal, which was also pursued at the Kuntamarkkinat fair, is to increase knowledge of PCP and PPI as financial instruments among municipalities’ decision makers. At the event, 43 procurers, suppliers and learntech experts showed interest in the project by becoming LEA Followers. You too can join here: https://www.learntechaccelerator.org/followlea
