On the 26th of September Gabrielle Eriksson and Ellinor Wallin attended Nordic Edtech for the LEA strategic network and awareness rising. The discussions and workshops throughout the day contained topics such as ”Edtech on global level, funding and identified educational needs around the globe”. A common conclusion is that there are severe challenges in Education that can only be overcome by collaboration across the sectors and country borders, and by NOT doing”business as usual”.
During the Nordic Edtech Awards Strawbees : https://strawbees.com/ a Swedish startup won the Awards 2018 among many other interesting Edtech innovations, for example https://learncove.io/ from Iceland and the Finnish innovation WordDive https://www.worddive.com/en/mobile-app?v=co101 for language learning.
As a follow-up of the event, LEA had a strategic meeting with Oslo Edtech to launch information about innovation procurement as important future tool in the development of Education to all the Nordic Edtech members. Hege Tollerud CEO of Oslo Edtech invited LEA for Open Market consultation together with Nordic Edtech members in Helsinki in December.
LEA at NHO the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise in Oslo
On the 27th of September Gabrielle and Ellinor from LEA had a meeting at NHO www.nho.noI with Ida Skaaret from innovativeanskaffelser.no and https://www.baerum.kommune.no/ to discuss synergies with the Norwegian Dialogue program, Innovation partnership models and Norways largest innovation procurement in Education led by Baerum kommune.
Agreed is that LEA will invite Ida Skaret to an upcoming LEA Capacity Buiding seminar to talk about her experience of 8 innovation partnerships in Norway and that Baerum kommune will follow LEA PPI preparations and upcoming PCP for transfer of knowledge of both LEA and previous IMAILE templates and lessons learned.
