PLEASE PPI proposal in brief:

Project proposal submitted in EU funded COSME-call (COS-PPI-2018-2-01 ) for 27 months PPI project starting from 1^st of August 2019 with overall budget of 1,8M€ (1M€ on procurement investment) in education technology sector
Innovation procurement for 6000 students in 3 European countries:
- Finland consortium (Konnevesi municipality) (450 000€ investment)
- Portugal (City of Braga) (450 000€ investment)
- Italy (City of Torino) (100 000€ investment)
Establishment of PPI support office for procurers and SMEs (Coordination – University of Jyväskylä, Technical support (JYU), PPI support (EUPK, SAB), Legal support (EUPK, SAB), & Community & PR support (SERN))

Overall challenge: Increased need for personalized learning
Objective:
- Simplify and facilitate innovation procurement for SMEs and start-ups
- Carry out conformance testing & procurement of innovation based on the work started in IMAILE imaile.eu project on personalized learning environments for the future
Timeline:
- PIN will be launched in early 2019
- Global Think Tank for Edtech industry in BETT show on 25^th of Jan at 1pm-3pm (location: Novotel next to EXCEL)
- January – July 2019: Intended Open Market Consultation & expansion of the initial investment activities
- August 2019: intended PLEASE PPI Kick-off (dependent on acceptance)
