Every student collects achievements, assessments and grades in class and at school. Whether through examinations, extra-curricular activities, lessons at school or through final certificates.
These achievements and assessments are not transparent to other schools or institutions. Information about achievements in certain subjects or acquired competence in specific areas of application is of great importance, especially for the process of choosing a profession and for the further professional career.
A tool that captures certain information about students’ competences and achievements and displays it visually on request would close this gap. In the context of compliance with data protection regulations, a tool with the consent of parents, pupils and schools could be developed and tested with selected companies and organisations.
In addition to the pupils who are about to graduate from school, the target group of early school leavers should be included in the tool.
